Hey hoo guys!!How has everyone been?I have been busy as usual :) With assignments due in a few weeks and this academic trip that I have to go too tomorrow!Yes, I'll b in Langkawi for a week!So if there are any parties/events there do holla at me. The party we went too was held at Neo Tamarind in Kl.This awesome, stunning restaurant located opposite of KLive. Guys, take note. This is the place to take your gf for the anniversary! Not the mamak stall!
Anyway as you can see i have uploaded tonnes of photos.Last Saturday night Tisha and I attended this awesome party held by our very own Malaysia Airlines in conjunction with its launch of MHbuddy on Facebook.. This application allows millions of Facebook users to book and check-in for a flight while sharing their trip details with their social network.Cool kn? Anyways, enough rambling! As you can see we had an awesome time.Met loads of people/bloggers who were under Nuffnang and Advertlets. There was free food, au'derves, free happy juice :), free souvenirs, goodie bags, free photos (like paparazzi everywhere) and we get to take the photos home with us.All printed out and framed the very night.Tisha and I brought home 6 photos each. We're so vain, we know ;)
Enjoy!

Some of the au'derves..shrimp salsa and potatoes.Delish!

The food was to die for! I think Tisha will blog more about the food as it is her forte.Check her out.In the end, I went home with my hands full of free stuff, new contacts and a happy stomach....all to have a flat tire in Seksyen 6.God is great y'all!

REHAT ITU PERLU :)

Hello friends, bloggers, agents, silent readers,fb stalkers who ended up at this link and twitter friends who tweet like the bird on twitter, hello, hye, how r ya and whats up?
I have got approximately 6 minutes to blog because in 6 minutes I have to be out of my apartment and on the way to Subang airport to pick up daddy dearest :)

So tomorrow, Sunday morning I'll be heading back home to the northern parts of Malaysia for a short midterm/Chinese New Year break.

I have been super busy and hectic and I think yes, I do need a breather before I break down and die from exhaustion.I have met many nice people these few couple of days, the result of me joining this debate team, which I know some of you out there would be saying, 'what a dork' and yes, a dork I am.At least I won't be the one standing in front of class, stuttering, looking a like a jack without a comeback when it comes to presentations ;)

So, my progress so far since I have started following the steps in The Secret by Rhonda Byrne;

1.Went to my 1st ever stand up comedy gig
2.Joined the debate team
3.Went out with a guy, okay fine it was a date after my 1 1/2 year relationship
4.Went to see a band performance
5.Went to a drum circle?
6.Made peace with my past. You know who you are.

Well, thats it for now. This positive shit does work you know. And it is changing my life.Ask my house mates.

ps.This was edited by Kem.Thank you bbe.ily!

Tasya's Ink

I was at KL Pac open day just to see this band! Tasya's Ink. They're awesome! Now I know I'm not the type of person you see at gigs and stuff but seriously when I checked out their songs on YouTube to see if the were really good or was it just the hype, they proved yes, they really are! I love this song called Hu and this song!! I'm falling in love with the song Yang Ku Mahu.Their band consists of Tasya (Mystarz LG winner) on vocals, Iriz playing the guitar, Wan on drums and Ike the bassist (he's MariaElena's brother!)haha..Check them out people.

Their photo shoot.

During their performance.

The cousins who introduced me to them :)

My Weekend

Bonjour!I do not know where to start and tell you how my weekend was.Bare with me while I retrace my steps.I guess it started with me going out with my gorgeous cousins on Friday night to Rasta.

I was introduced to 2 crazy people Nini and Haziq! (They are adorable btw!)We played like stupid idontgiveafuck games cause ppl where really noisy so we were too!and yes, unwanted,way-over-the-limit information were shared amongst 5 of us.It was fun! I had a great meal, nasi goreng Thai and brownies and spaghetti. Yes, I ate and shisha-ed a lot.
The next day, I went to Bangsar to get me eyebrows threaded..at this Indian place for Rm5.00 only.I don't know if it's just me but it hurts every time.I can never get used to it!Shows my low tolerance for pain.
Then, Saturday night I went to Bentley Music Auditorium to watch my first ever live stand up comedy!

This guy called Paul Ogata was hilarious!Yes, I actually believed he was Japanese. Oh and Ida Nerina was sitting behind me!Then off to Changkat, La Bodega Bangsar (where i met awesome people! I wish my French was much more fluent! Everybody seems to speak French nowadays.Macam ketinggalan gila)and Asia Cafe to play some pool.Haida, I don't believe thats the 1st time you have ever played pool. She won 3 times.Talent or what?Yes, I was everywhere except for being at Zouk where Lapsap was! Well, anyways I'll let the pictures do the telling.Btw I am writing this in a hurry cause like everyone has finished their thesis proposals and yes, Addina hasn't even started.Kau ingat kau pandai sgt nak buat last minute ke?haih...anyway guys i gtg. Life Update

Hellooo dear readers!

I think that lately my posts have been a lot about me going out and about attending events. So, let's give this blog a touch of my personal side.I mean, I am not the socialite that parties all night and attends fashion events 24/7.On the contrary I am but a simple gal, who at the end of the day enjoys a bowl of Maggie mee sitting in front of the lappy and watch old out dated movies.Yes, that's me!
The first month back in Shah Alam has been hectic! With redecorating my room, attending classes, getting my proposal for my thesis in order, development projects on the go (I am an Estate Management student after all), going to events that my friend Tia asked me to accompany her and yes, to also having car problems. My beloved Mazdavvy(a 2nd hand Proton Savvy) has been unhealthy for the past week. After getting it fixed(cost me a whole rm850.00!), my father and I decided that it was time to let Mazdavvy go. I am sad to let go of him. We shared a LOT of unforgettable memories together. He was my first car.But with the end of something, also comes a new beginning. My dad purchased for me a new Viva (1st hand) hoping that a brad new car will not give me any problems in the long run, and will save him a lot of $$$. Mazdiva will join me after the Chinese New Year. With her arrival, I have to be ready and learn how to drive stick (manual!!!). Something new for this year.
Anyway, another thing I would like to share is that I am currently reading this motivational book called 'The Secret'.For those who have heard of it and read it, you can imagine how this book is changing my life around. The Law of Attraction that is told in the book really does work. I am not bluffing when I say, thoughts do become things. People, if you want to change your life around then do this: Be happy. When you are happy, think of things you want. Like that BMW X6 or to be rich and prosperous or to get deans list or even to wake up the next morning and fall in love.anything you want. Do that, visualize what you want and believe it.Believe it as though you have already received it. It will come true!Trust me! Remember to only think of positive thoughts and it will attract more positive things in your life.
I will keep you updated about how this book will change my life ( I believe it will in such a big and profound way!)

Year 2011:
Things I have achieved so far:
1. Redecorated my room
2. Attended a fashion event for the 1st time!
3.Learned how to drive manual alone!
4. Interviewed 2 famous artists
5.To be positive :)

ps: I name my car Mazdavvy because I really wanted a Mazda for my 1st car but never had the chance! haha :)
Credits to Kem for naming both my cars.
